ABOUT
Pat Sansone (Wilco) coined the name “Toy Box”,
because of the vast collection of vintage and modern
toys that accumulated in the recording space over the
years. Although there are fewer toys in the studio
today, there are a still a wide variety of pieces for the
child in you to tinker with, from the Steinway Concert
Grand and hand-constructed 44 Channel MCI Console
to each of the vintage microphones, organs, amps,
     instruments, and outboard gear.

The studio offers 24 channels of Pro-Tools and 16-24
tracks of Analog Tape, all run through the MCI
Console. In addition to all the ‘toys’ available for your
use, you can head up the spiral staircase to chill
with the band, enjoy dinner, or get some shut eye in
the lounge. The studio features the Great Room
with vaulted ceilings, lounge, an anechoic room
(dead drum room), and an additional smaller
isolated room, with line of sight between all rooms.
