Please join us for Stereo Sessions Nov 4th 7pm

Join us Monday Nov 4th at 7pm for performances by Lane Abernathy, Jason Moore & Gary Welch , Normal The Board, Diamond Carter, and The Double Intenders. The show goes on at 7pm and we will be filming the whole thing for Stereo Sessions.

We also have some awesome sponsors for this Stereo Session. We will have Miktek and Fat Bottom Brewery both in the house providing beautiful CV3 and CV4 mics and growlers of delicious beer! (But feel free to byob as well)

A trip to Aldi

Experimenting with capturing real world sounds for remixing. Here is a trip to Aldi captured on my iPhone with iTalk. And then rough sketch remixed back at the studio. We want to hear your remixes! What you got?

We want you for the next Stereo Session Nov 4th

Would you like to be a part of the next Stereo Session Nov 4th at 7pm? Its right around the corner! We are giving away spots to five artists to perform up to three songs each. This will include video and be posted on The Toy Box Studio Youtube channel. You will be able to share an awesome video of yourself for free, and we can send you home with the audio recording too!

Here is a sample of what to expect. While this trailer is only one singer, please bring some other musicians to play and sing with you for your session. The more unique the performance of the song the better!

We will have have a very simple stereo mic setup with no headphones. So bring your acoustics, a few other musicians, and keep it cool and organic. This will be the perfect setup for natural vocal blends and harmonies, light percussion, or toy instruments. Basically we will record the same way you might play a song together in your living room.

We hope to have a couple of sponsors for the sessions to help promote your video as well.
