My guest on today’s show, Manny Nieto, has been working with some of the coolest punk rock bands from Los Angeles to Beijing. Manny has been recording in LA since he caught the recording bug in 1997 from Steve Albini. He describes his trip to Beijing seeking awesome bands to cut records with his mobile recording setup. In this 2-part podcast, Manny’s story takes us on a trip through Beijing’s underground punk scene with stories of killer bands, great engineers, and fantastic studios.
